Wizz Air connects Eindhoven Airport to Bosnia-Herzegovina

Eindhoven, 23 April 2014

Wizz Air announced today that it will start up a new route between Eindhoven Airport and Tuzla International Airport in Bosnia-Herzegovina in June 2014, only three weeks after publishing its flight schedules for Poznań, its new destination in Poland.

Flights from Eindhoven to Tuzla will take place twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays using the ultra-modern and quiet Airbus A320 that has room for up to 180 passengers. The route will go into operation on 22 June 2014. Tuzla is the 16th destination to be offered by Wizz Air from Eindhoven Airport.

Tuzla is the third largest city in Bosnia-Herzegovina with roots dating back to 1510 when it was an important garrison town in the Ottoman Empire. Nowadays, the city is the most important economic, tourist and cultural centre in North-East Bosnia.

Wizz Air flies to the following destinations in Central and Eastern Europe from Eindhoven Airport: Riga (Latvia), Vilnius (Lithuania), Danzig, Katowice, Wroclaw, Poznań, Warsaw (Poland), Brno (the Czech Republic), Budapest, Debrecen (Hungary), Belgrade (Serbia), Tuzla (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Skopje (Macedonia), Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Sofia (Bulgaria).
