Ryanair announced today that it will start operating a new route between Eindhoven Airport and Madrid Barajas Airport, the Spanish capital's main airport in October 2014.
Flights from Eindhoven to Madrid will be scheduled 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with the ultra-modern and quiet Boeing 737-800 that has room for up to 189 passengers. The route will go into operation on 28 October 2014. Madrid is the 11th destination in Spain to be offered by Ryanair from Eindhoven Airport.
Besides Ryanair's new route, Transavia.com will also start flying to Madrid from Eindhoven Airport (3 to 4 times a week in summer and 2 to 3 times a week in winter).
