Eindhoven, 10 July 2014
Today, Ryanair announced its timetable for the upcoming 2014/2015 winter season. In addition to the new scheduled services already announced (Madrid, Manchester and Lisbon), this winter Ryanair will also be carrying out flights to the current Italian summer destinations Catania and Venice and two new destinations will be added to the Ryanair network from Eindhoven: Turin (Italy) and Tenerife (Spain).
Flights from Eindhoven to Turin will be scheduled 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and flights from Eindhoven to Tenerife will be scheduled once a week on Fridays. Both flights will be carried out with the ultra-modern and quiet Boeing 737-800 that has room for up to 189 passengers. The winter timetable will go into operation on 26 October 2014.
Turin, which has one million inhabitants and is the second largest city in Northern Italy as well as the capital of the Piëmonte region, is an important cultural, economic and tourist centre. It is the centre of the Italian automotive industry, the starting point for visits to the Aosta Valley and the Italian Alps, the city of FIAT, Juventus, Vincenzo Lancia, Umberto Tozzi and Don Bosco.
Tenerife, which is the largest island of the Canary Islands, requires little introduction. Modern tourist resorts alternate with authentic villages and the extinct volcano El Teide towers above it all. At an altitude of 3718 metres, it is the highest mountain on Spanish territory.
Ryanair's winter timetable for 2014/2015 with departure from Eindhoven Airport offers a total of 29 destinations across 109 weekly flights.
