Vaccinations
Are you planning to travel abroad? Please be informed, preferably 6 to 8 weeks before departure, about the right vaccinations, possible anti-malaria medication and other health matters for your trip or journey. You can contact GGD or Travel Doctor advice & vaccinations. Travel Doctor has also a branche on Eindhoven Airport.
Travel Doctor
Travel Doctor is a national vaccination organisation composed of general practitioners specialised and certified in travel advice and vaccinations. Travel Doctor also discusses your medical background and medication usage during the consultation. Most health insurance companies refund the costs. Travel Doctor also stocks various travel products such as Deet, ORS and mosquito nets. For making an appointment or more information see www.traveldoctor.nl or call 040-2350300. Healthy when you go away, healthy when you come home!
Film & photo
The modern X-ray security equipment at Eindhoven Airport will not damage your photo/film equipment.
Mobile phones
You may take your mobile phone on board with you, but you must turn it off. It is strictly forbidden to use a mobile phone inside the aircraft.
Electronics
The use of electronic items inside the aircraft is restricted. For example, personal stereo systems or portable computers may not be used sometimes during the flight (they can interfere with the aircraft's navigation equipment).
Special meals
Special meals for medical or religious reasons, vegetarian meals and baby meals can be provided at no extra charge. Please advise the airline or your travel agent well in advance.
Departure times
When you make your reservation, you will be told when you are required to check in for your flight. The time shown on your ticket is the time the aircraft is scheduled to leave, not the time you need to check in. Allow ample time for pre-boarding procedures, especially during busy periods such as weekends and public holidays: flights will not be held for passengers arriving late.
Unaccompanied minors
Children up to 12 years travelling alone are accepted by most airlines subject to certain conditions. Check with your airline or travel agency.
Babies
Airlines limit the number of babies on each flight. Some provide special seats or cots for children under two years old. Check with your airline well in advance. Baby-changing facilities are available in the airport terminal.
