Direct employment
Eindhoven Airport N.V. is an important contributor to employment in the region. In the first place, of course, it provides direct employment to (at the time of writing) thirty people, most of whom work for one of the airport's main divisions: Commercial Affairs & PR, Operations and Finance & ICT. These are supported by the Legal Affairs, Personnel and Secretarial departments. All processes are overseen by the General Manager.

Indirect employment
Not only are the numbers of people directly employed by the airport itself rising: in the same way, and even more importantly, employment by companies operating at or in the vicinity of the airport is beginning to take off too.
Companies immediately adjacent to the apron currently provide jobs for some six hundred fifty people. The Eindhoven Airport industrial estate, located alongside the airport, employs around four thousand and the number is still rising. The Flight Forum commercial area provides employment for a further five thousand people.
