Check-in procedures

Don't miss your flight!

For holiday charter services and scheduled services Ryanair, Wizzair en Transavia we suggest to check-in two hours before your flight is scheduled.  Please note that check-in is closed 40 minutes before departure.

  • Check-in in the departure hall at the desk of the airline that is operating your flight.
  • Show your ticket and passport at the check-in desk.
  • Your case (hold baggage) will be weighed, a label will be attached to it and it will be taken away on the baggage conveyor.
  • The ground steward(ess) will then give you your boarding card.

 

Note: There are certain goods and substances that you are not allowed to carry in your hold baggage, see list 2 in 'Baggage security rules' for details.


Online check-in

Ryanair passengers: Airport check-in is only available if your flights were booked before the 20th May 2009. Only passengers who booked their flights before the 20th May 2009 and selected to use airport check-in are eligible to use this service. For these passengers, the airport check-In desks close strictly 40 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure time. If checking in baggage we recommend that you arrive at the airport two hours prior to scheduled flight departure. Please note airport check-in will not be available to any passenger travelling after the 1st October 2009. Passenger can check-in online for one of both of their flights from 15 days prior up to 4 hours before the scheduled flight departure time of the flight on www.ryanair.com. Please note - Online check-in closes 4 hours prior to flight departure. Once a passenger has checked in online (up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled flight time) the boarding pass can be reprinted up to 40 minutes before scheduled flight departure time. All non EU/EEA passengers must have their online boarding pass checked and stamped at the Document/Visa Check Desk before going through airport security. Passengers who do not bring their printed boarding passes to the airport will be required to pay a Boarding Car Re-Issue Fee in order to receive a new boarding pass. This facility is available up to 40 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure.

 

Transavia passengers: for flights from Eindhoven Airport you can check in online from 24 to 3 hours before the departure of your flight, select your own seat and print your own boarding card.

This is how it works.

 

On the day of departure you deliver your baggage to the special transavia.com baggage drop-off point, where your baggage will be checked in. Are you travelling with hand baggage only? Then you can continue to the gate immediately.


You can check in online:

 

  • If you have booked your flight on www.transavia.com or via the transavia.com call centre.
  • If you have booked a (package) trip at a travel organisation or travel agency and you have been given a 6-figure booking code.
  • If you are departing from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Rotterdam Airport or Eindhoven Airport.
  • If you have made a booking for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 9 persons
  • From 24 hours and until 3 hours before the departure of the flight.
  • If your hand baggage meets the weight and size requirements.
